James Crockett is an experienced professional in the horticulture and viticulture sectors, currently serving as Sector Manager at Primary ITO since November 2017. In this role, James leads engagement with the New Zealand Wine, Sports Turf, and Apiculture industries, ensuring the relevance of work-based learning opportunities and developing new programs. Prior positions include Viticulture Sector Adviser and Lead Training Adviser, focusing on qualifications and internal training for the wine industry and horticulture teams, as well as a Training Adviser specializing in viticulture in Marlborough. Prior experience at Hortus Ltd involved managing health and safety systems, recruitment, and training for vineyard operations.
