Dan Hedekar, AScT, currently serves as a Distribution Designer and Project Manager at Primary Engineering and Construction since March 2024. Previously, Dan held multiple roles at Encepta from October 2016 to March 2024, including Engineering/Operations Manager and Senior OPE Designer, where responsibilities encompassed the design and project management of Outside Plant Networks and oversight of daily operations in the Victoria office. Before Encepta, Dan worked at TELUS Communications as an Outside Plant Engineering Technologist, focusing on the design of Fibre Optic and Copper Networks, as well as customer service roles related to OptikTV and ADSL. Dan's career started at Sport Chek as a Service Technician and Sales Associate, followed by a brief period at Rockwell Automation as a Software Engineer. Dan holds a Diploma of Technology in Robotics and Automation from the British Columbia Institute of Technology and has participated in various leadership and professional development courses.
