Michael Vandeveer is a seasoned Sr. Plastic Design Engineer at Pride Mobility Products, with extensive experience in developing designs for plastic components in personal mobility vehicles. Since joining the company in June 2007, Michael has played a pivotal role in prototype development and validation, collaborating closely with Industrial Design and Mechanical Engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with FDA standards. Travel to Asian manufacturing facilities has been essential for tool and process validation. Prior to this role, Michael served as an Engineering Intern at Plastech, where contributions included developing injection molding processes for automotive applications and enhancing automation through tooling design. Michael holds a Bachelor’s degree in Plastic Engineering Technology from Pennsylvania State University-Erie Campus.
