Teena M. Weisler-Vega, MSW, LSW, is an experienced social worker and educator currently serving as a Harm Reductionist and School Counselor/Social Worker at Mercy Career & Technical High School since 2012. Teena teaches a seminar course and facilitates harm reduction lessons for 9th graders, advocates for student needs, and coordinates various support services. In addition, Teena moderates a Young Activist Club focused on social justice issues and has developed an anti-racism curriculum as the Director of Ministry and Service. Previous experience includes roles as a Womxn's Night Coordinator at Prevention Point Philadelphia and various social work internships and teaching positions, complemented by a strong educational background in social work and substance abuse counseling.
