Laura Smith has extensive experience in education, currently serving as a Staff Preschool Teacher and Early Childhood Coordinator at Preston Trail Community Church since June 2021. Prior to this role, Laura worked as an ESL Teacher at VIPKID from October 2018 to June 2021. Laura's experience in teaching includes positions as a 7th/8th Grade Science Teacher at Fort Bend Christian Academy from August 2014 to May 2018 and as a 7th Grade Science Teacher at Alief Independent School District from August 2009 to May 2014. Academically, Laura holds a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Studies (Secondary Math/Science Education) from Texas A&M University (2006-2009) and a Master of Arts in Science & Religion from Biola University (2017).
