Lara Oliver is a seasoned professional in library and sales management with extensive experience spanning various roles in both public and academic sectors. As a Sales Agent at PressReader since November 2024, Lara focuses on serving libraries across the United States. Previously, at Qatar National Library, Lara held the position of Head of Social Science and served as Acting Manager of Reference Services. Prior experience includes a notable tenure as Senior Information Services Librarian - Humanities at the same institution and over a decade at Penguin Random House in positions such as National Accounts Manager and District Sales Manager. Earlier career roles also include serving as a Library Sales Representative and Senior Special Events Coordinator at March of Dimes. Lara holds an M.A. in Library and Information Studies from UCL and a B.S. in Business Administration from Ohio University.
