Milan Jordan is a seasoned professional in the architecture and design field, currently serving as Director of HOPE Crew at the National Trust for Historic Preservation since March 2020. Previous experience includes leadership roles at The American Institute of Architects (AIA), where Milan held the position of Director for Workforce & Emerging Professionals and managed the Center for Emerging Professionals from August 2015 to March 2020. Earlier, Milan directed programs and communications for AIA Atlanta and worked as a Project Manager of Real Estate Development at the Historic District Development Corporation. Additional experience includes urban design and development research at Laminin Group, planning liaison activities at the Department of Planning & Zoning, and gallery attendant responsibilities at the Smithsonian Institution. Educational qualifications include a Master of Architecture from the Georgia Institute of Technology and a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the University of Maryland.
