Carl Brodt, C.M.A. has over 37 years of experience in the financial industry. Carl began their career in 1983 as a Vice President of Finance and Accounting at Union Bank, where they acted as the CFO responsible for accounting, financial, and administrative functions. In this role, they developed and applied accounting controls and reporting standards. Carl also served as the Controller for the Bank's main marketing and sales organization and managed the Financial Planning and Analysis department in charge of corporate budgeting and forecasting.
In 2016, Carl began working as an Adjunct Professor at Holy Names University. Carl also began working as the Managing Director at Prescio Consulting, where they are responsible for client relations, project management, model and system design and development, data base structure and Big Data analytics, finance and accounting, and certain risk management and legal matters. Carl is a specialist in Current Expected Credit Loss (CECL) modeling and other credit loss estimation techniques.

Carl then earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Drucker School of Management, with an emphasis on Finance. Carl also holds a Bachelor's degree in Political Science from Santa Clara University, with an unofficial second major in Economics. Additionally, they are certified as a Management Accountant from the Institute of Management Accountants.
