Laurie McKay

Laurie McKay has extensive work experience in finance and accounting roles. Laurie currently holds the position of Vice President of Accounting at Westminster Communities of Florida. Prior to this, Laurie served as the Director of Financial Services at CCRC - LAKE PORT SQUARE, LLC for over three years. Laurie also held the positions of Finance Director of Long Term Care and Supervisor of Accounting Services at SSM Health. Before joining SSM Health, Laurie served as the Business Manager of Long Term Care at Dunn County, Wisconsin. Laurie also worked as an Adjunct Instructor at both Chippewa Valley Technical College and Lakeland College. Earlier in their career, Laurie worked as an Assistant Controller at Community Health Partnership, Inc, a Quality Assurance Manager at Clifton Gunderson LLP, and an Accountant at Architectural Design Group. Laurie started their career as a Controller at WIERSGALLA COMPANY, INC.

Laurie McKay obtained a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and Business/Management from Northern Michigan University, which they completed from 1983 to 1993. In addition to their degree, they also hold various certifications. In 1997, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant (CPA) certification from the State of Wisconsin. In 2002, they obtained the Certified Business Manager (CBM) certification from the Association of Professionals in Business Management. Most recently, in October 2015, they acquired the Notary Public Commission from the State of Wisconsin.
