Christian Elser is a seasoned music educator and administrator with extensive experience in higher education and community music organizations. Serving as a Professor of Music at Presbyterian College since August 2008, Christian holds multiple leadership roles, including Voice Division Director and Director of Choral Activities, and oversees the PC Opera/Musical Theatre program. In tandem with academic responsibilities, Christian co-founded Glow Lyric Theatre in August 2009 and has served as Executive Director and resident Music Director. Additionally, Christian held the position of Director of Music at Greenville Unitarian Universalist Fellowship from June 2012 to January 2019. Academically, Christian completed a Doctor of Musical Arts in Voice at The University of Kansas and holds degrees in Historical Musicology, Recording Arts, and Voice from prestigious institutions including Northwestern University, Full Sail University, and the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
