Ignacio Mendez Reid is a Senior Associate at Preqin since May 2020, where responsibilities include conducting valuations on venture capital-backed companies and sourcing annual accounts for private equity-backed firms. Ignacio previously gained experience as an intern at Banco Popular Dominicano, focusing on compliance policies and due diligence procedures, and as an analyst at ATEGIX Legal & Empresarial, configuring ERP software for diverse projects. As the founder of Méndez y Co from September 2014 to May 2018, Ignacio developed expertise in beer brewing and managed the production and commercialization of an artisan beer brand. Additional internship experience includes processing claims at WorldWide Seguros. Ignacio holds a Master’s degree in Business Finance from Queen Mary University of London and a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Iberoamericana.
