Maéli Schmidt has a diverse work experience in various industries. Maéli started their career as a researcher at FURB - Universidade de Blumenau, where they conducted scientific research in the field of chemical engineering, focusing on simulation and mathematical modeling. Maéli then worked as a Technical Sales Representative at Macler Produtos Quimicos, where they were responsible for technical sales of chemical products and building relationships with clients.

Maéli also gained experience in the textile industry as an Engineering Intern at Rovitex, where they worked on product development and technical specifications. After that, they transitioned to the field of digital marketing, working as a Performance Marketing Analyst at A7B - Marketing Digital and later at Adtail.
