Matt Pounder is an experienced professional in equality, diversity, and inclusion within the sports industry. Currently serving as the Senior Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager at The Premier League since April 2022, Matt also holds the role of Premier League Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Standard Manager. Prior to this, Matt worked at The Premier League Charitable Fund as an Inclusion & Equality Programmes Executive from July 2018 to April 2022. Matt's career includes significant positions at Burnley Football Club, where roles included Disability Liaison Officer, Community Development Officer, and Head of Sport, as well as various coaching positions at Liverpool Football Club and the LFC Foundation. Matt holds a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sports Development from Liverpool John Moores University, completed between 2010 and 2013.
