Robert Barbarisi has a strong background in construction management, with extensive experience in the design and construction of prestressed concrete tanks. Robert served as the Vice President of Construction Management at Preload, where they oversaw numerous projects across various sectors and locations. During their time at Preload, they authored the Corporate Construction Manual, developed the Company Quality Control Program, and held a construction license in multiple states. Prior to their role at Preload, Barbarisi held executive positions at National Concrete Tanks LLC and DN Tanks. Robert also worked as a Senior Project Manager at Sir Robert McAlpine and as a Mechanical & Electrical Project Manager at Peabody New England, Inc.
Robert Barbarisi obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) from the University of Rhode Island. Robert has also obtained various certifications, including Procore Certified: Project Manager (Project Management) from Procore Technologies in July 2023, Contractor's License Building B-1 from the Pikes Peak Regional Building Department in June 2022, and National Standard Building Contractor (B) from the International Code Council in April 2022. Additionally, they hold certifications such as Licensed Contractor with LRF from the State of Utah in September 2020, Nevada Contractor's License from the Nevada State Contractors Board in September 2020, and State of Georgia Utility Managers License from the State of Georgia in May 2017. Other certifications include the State of California General Engineering Contractor's License Class A from the Contractors State License Board in October 2016, Virginia Highway/Heavy Contractors License from the Commonwealth of Virginia in October 2015, and Public Works and Filter Plants and Water Purification Licenses from the State of Louisiana in January 2015. Robert also holds a Public Works Contractor license from the State of Idaho since March 2010, Contractors Licenses GF-03 Reservoirs & GF-07 Tanks and Towers from the State of New Mexico Regulation and Licensing Department since July 2009, Arizona General Engineering Contractor Class A from the Arizona Registrar of Contractors since May 2009, Commercial General Contractor Level 1 License from the State of Oregon since March 2009, 30-hour Occupational Safety and Health Training from the US DEPARTMENT OF LABOR OSHA in November 2005, and Deep Foundation Training from the Deep Foundations Institute in March 2005.
