Leah Karimi is an experienced professional in certification administration and agriculture, currently serving as the Legal Entity Manager and East Africa Team Leader at Preferred by Nature since October 2018. Prior to this role, Leah worked at Rainforest Alliance as a Certification Administration Coordinator where responsibilities included providing certification-related information, managing databases, and overseeing audit services in the African region. Leah's earlier experience includes positions at Bureau Veritas, where strategic planning for audits and customer care in the Pre-export Verification of Conformity program were key responsibilities, as well as a research internship at Kenya Forest Research Institute. Educational qualifications include an MSc in Plant Pathology from Kenyatta University and a Diploma in Project Management from the Kenya Institute of Management.
