Jakub Wicher is an experienced professional in forestry and management, currently serving as a Manager and Auditor for chains of custody and forest management at Preferred by Nature since 2021. Jakub also contributes as a Technical Working Group Member for the Forest Stewardship Council™ since 2022, focusing on revising Forest Stewardship Standards for Poland. Previously, Jakub worked as a Forestry Specialist/Engineer at State Forests of Poland from 2013 to 2019, where responsibilities included monitoring compliance with forest regulations and planning budgets for forest and wildlife management. Jakub's early career included a role as Hostel Manager at Rogacz mountain hostel in 2012, enhancing interpersonal skills while providing lodging services. Academically, Jakub holds a Master of Science in Management with a major in Psychology and Human Capital Management from WSB University in Wrocław, along with a Bachelor of Engineering in Forest Management and postgraduate studies in Nature Preservation from the University of Agriculture in Kraków.
