Khuyen Tran is a Developer Advocate at Prefect. Prior to joining Prefect, Khuyen was a Data Science Intern at NVIDIA, where they estimated the causal effect of an intervention on a time series by forecasting how the outcomes might have been different if our product was not used. Khuyen also matched 1k+ delivery orders and pickup orders that arrive in the same time interval using linear programming, and built a probabilistic, deep-learning-based time series model to train and forecast the volumes of over 1.5k truck orders in the next 20 days.

Before NVIDIA, Khuyen was a Python Assessment Developer at Workera, where they built a competency model and created questions of varying difficulties for a Python assessment. Khuyen also participated in Workera's QA process to ensure that only the best questions are made available to Workera's users.

Previously, Khuyen was a Data Science Evangelist at Datapane, and a Contributor at Saturn Cloud.

Khuyen Tran has a Bachelor of Science in Computational and Applied Mathematics from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville. They also have certification from Udemy in Data Structures & Algorithms, Python for Data Science and Machine Learning Bootcamp, and The Complete SQL Bootcamp. Additionally, they have a certification from Coursera in Machine Learning.
