Grace Andersen has a diverse work experience in various fields of engineering. Grace started their career as an Engineering Step-Up Intern at Hormel in 2014, where they worked on projects such as developing a system for counting live turkeys using a 3D camera and assisting with electricity usage appraisal at the Austin Plant. Grace then worked as an Avid Tutor at the Austin School District, providing academic support to high school students. Grace interned as a Chemistry Lab Intern at Hormel Foods in 2016, where they analyzed samples for protein content and independently ran the protein area of the lab. Grace furthered their engineering skills by working as a Software Engineer at Garmin International in 2017 and as an Electrical Engineering Intern at Garmin International in 2018. In 2019, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder and as an Electrical Engineering intern at Collins Aerospace. Grace then joined Syncroness in 2020 as an Electrical Engineer I. Grace later worked at Very as an Embedded Electrical Engineer, working on systems for smart manufacturing, energy, utilities, consumer electronics, and connected wellness. Currently, they hold the position of Electrical Engineer at Precision Neuroscience, where they are involved in designing PCBs for a brain-computer interface.
Grace Andersen attended South Dakota Mines from 2015 to 2019, where they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
