Stuart Slagle has extensive experience in the horse racing industry, currently serving as Racing Secretary at Prairie Meadows since January 2022 and as Stakes Coordinator at Fair Grounds Race Course & Slots since January 2022. Prior roles include Racing Official at various prestigious venues such as Churchill Downs Incorporated, Keeneland Association, Kentucky Downs, and Ellis Park Racing, with responsibilities ranging from judging to race planning. Previously, Stuart held the position of Director of Thoroughbred Race Planning and Analysis and Racing Secretary at Woodbine Entertainment. Stuart's early career included roles at Laurel Park and The HorsePlayer Magazine, where responsibilities encompassed technology and statistical advisory. Stuart earned a B.S. in Zoology from The University of Texas at Austin and further education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
