Aashish Malhotra has a diverse range of work experience in the field of cybersecurity. In 2021, they interned at Finlatics as an Information Security Engineer, where they identified security flaws and bugs and prepared reports and Video PoCs to assist with mitigation efforts. Aashish also worked as a Penetration Tester at Reculta, conducting freelance web application security testing and helping to fix critical security vulnerabilities.

In 2022, Aashish took on roles as a Security Researcher at both the MIDAS: Multimodal Digital Media Analysis Lab and TavLab. At MIDAS, they focused on research related to security, while at TavLab, they worked on ensuring the security of the Integrated Federated Healthcare Platform (IFHP) to protect patient and hospital privacy.

Aashish also worked as a Security Engineer at Deutsche Telekom Digital Labs in 2022, where they conducted various Red Team assessments and external pentests to identify vulnerabilities and developed tools and scripts to aid in these assessments.

In 2023, Aashish joined Praetorian as a Security Engineer II.

Aashish Malhotra is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Technology (BTech) degree in Computer Science at the Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology, Delhi. Aashish started their degree program in 2019 and is expected to complete it in 2023. Apart from their formal education, Aashish has also obtained a certification in OSCP (Offensive Security) in December 2022. Prior to attending university, Aashish's education history is unspecified, but it can be inferred that they may have completed their secondary education at GEMS Education, although the specific degree or field of study is unknown.
