Jessica Tai is an accomplished Engineering Manager at Airbnb since May 2014, overseeing two teams comprising 16 engineers within the Application Foundation Infra teams. With over 4 years of experience managing multi-year tech stack projects, Jessica has successfully led initiatives such as the adoption of a read-optimized store framework and the technical direction for core data and microservice teams. In addition to engineering management, Jessica has been actively involved in public speaking, presenting technical topics at major conferences, and serving as Vice President of Airbnb's women in tech group. Previous roles include Staff Software Engineer and Senior Software Engineer at Airbnb, along with engineering coaching at BetterUp and teaching assistant positions at Stanford University. Jessica holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science degree from UCLA.
