Madeline Smith is currently a Staff Environmental Scientist at PPM Consultants, Inc., since August 2022. Prior to this role, Madeline served as a Technical Project Manager at the Mississippi Department of Environmental Quality (MDEQ) from December 2020 to August 2022, overseeing regulatory compliance for groundwater assessment and remediation projects related to leaking underground storage tanks in Mississippi. Madeline holds a Bachelor's degree in Biological/Biosystems Engineering from Mississippi State University, earned between 2018 and 2020, and an Associate of Science degree in Engineering from Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College, completed from 2016 to 2018.
