Nicholas DeLucia, PhD, is currently serving as the Lead Process Analytics Engineer at PPG since August 2023. Prior to this role, Nicholas worked as a Senior Analytical Chemist at Avient Corporation from October 2021 to August 2023, where responsibilities included analytical characterization and problem-solving across various projects. Nicholas gained experience as a Scientist I at Oakwood Labs from July 2019 to October 2021, managing multiple projects on microsphere drug product development. Earlier, Nicholas held positions as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Research Assistant at the University of South Carolina, focusing on inorganic chemistry education and research in selective catalytic upgrading of lignocellulosic biomass. Nicholas's academic background includes a PhD in Chemistry from the University of South Carolina and a B.S. in Chemistry from the University at Buffalo.
