Lee Steely, Ph.D., is an experienced Associate and Senior Research Chemist at PPG since June 2007, leading electrocoat formulation projects and addressing field issue troubleshooting. Formerly a Research Chemist, Lee transitioned from a postdoctoral position focusing on polyurethane/urea research for aerospace transparencies to taking on technical leadership roles in military and composite armor projects. Lee earned a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Penn State University and a BS in Chemistry from Messiah University, with foundational education at Cumberland Valley Christian School.
