Pete Jensen is an accomplished procurement executive with extensive experience in global procurement and strategic sourcing. Currently serving as Vice President of Global Procurement at Thermo Fisher Scientific and Executive Director at PPD, Pete has a proven track record of managing substantial annual spend volumes and transforming procurement functions. At PPD, responsibilities include overseeing supplier compliance and risk management while leading significant projects such as the migration to Oracle Cloud ERP and the development of the company's ESG strategy. Previous roles at Merck spanned various levels of procurement management and strategic sourcing, where achievements include transitioning sourcing systems to SAP, negotiating major outsourcing contracts, and establishing international agreements across diverse categories.
