Eric Chirombe is an experienced professional in the cement manufacturing and engineering sectors, currently serving as General Manager at PPC Zimbabwe since November 2020, overseeing clinker manufacturing operations. Previously, Eric held the position of Operations Manager at LafargeHolcim, where responsibilities included managing cement manufacturing and leading major capital projects. Eric has also been Head of Electrical & Automation at FLSmidth, focusing on project management across Africa, and Plant Manager at Lafarge Cement, enhancing plant performance and team development. Eric's career began as an Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer at Ashanti Gold Mine, following a graduate trainee role at BHP Minerals. Eric holds a Master's degree in Project Management from the University of Pretoria and a Bachelor's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the National University of Science and Technology.
