Ben Spincer currently serves as the Executive Chairman of PowerPlus Energy as of April 2023 and holds the position of Chairman at Li-S Energy since March 2021, focusing on the commercialization of advanced Lithium-Sulphur battery technology. Additional roles include Non-executive Director at EnyGy, Senior Advisor at White Graphene and BNNT Technology, and Director at TFR Innovations, all positions held from 2021 onwards. Prior experience includes Executive Director of Research Innovations and Director Research - Commercial at Deakin University from 2015 to 2021, and various leadership roles at Telstra from 2007 to 2015, including Director of Technology Strategy and Innovation. Before that, Ben served as a European Telecoms Analyst at Credit Suisse and as a Senior Reporter at Informa. Academic credentials include an MA and PhD in Geology and Reef Palaeoecology from the University of Cambridge, obtained between 1990 and 1997.
