Karyn Williams has a strong background in urban planning and landscape architecture with experience ranging from municipal government to non-profit organizations. Currently serving as the Vice President of Programs at Powerhouse Arts, Inc., Karyn has previously held roles such as Program Director at Design Trust for Public Space and Assistant Director at NYC Department of Parks & Recreation. Williams also co-founded a volunteer organization, Velo City, that provided youth from underserved communities with opportunities to explore the city on bikes while learning about urban development. Karyn's educational background includes a Master of Landscape Architecture from the University of Toronto and a Master of Urban Planning from McGill University.
