Richard serves as Vice President, Treasurer and Head of Global Project Finance at First Solar. He has over 29 years of experience in the energy sector and proven track record in project finance, acquisitions, divestitures, business development, asset management and financial management. Richard has transaction experience across global markets with a strong focus in emerging markets. His previous employers include Ashmore Energy International (AEI) and the Royal Dutch Shell Group where he spent over a decade on assignment in South America (Bolivia and Brazil). Richard earned his bachelor’s degree in Finance from New Mexico State University and his MBA from the University of Houston.
