Cameron McKay is a seasoned professional in engineering and design, currently serving as Head of Design and Asset Information at Powerco since July 2022. Prior to this role, Cameron spent over 13 years at Transpower New Zealand, where positions included Head of Engineering Integration, Transmission Lines Engineering Manager, and Investigations Manager for Transmission Lines. Responsibilities encompassed leading teams in engineering delivery, managing feasibility studies, and overseeing the design of transmission line projects. Cameron holds a Bachelor of Engineering (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Canterbury, completed between 2005 and 2008, and is an alumnus of Palmerston North Boys High.
