Wei Weng is an academic and researcher currently serving as an Assistant Professor at National Taiwan University since February 2022. In addition to this role, Wei Weng has been a Guest Scientist and Science Officer at the PIK - Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research, contributing to the Sustainable South America Project since April 2015. Previous experience includes a Postdoctoral Research Fellowship at Stockholm University from June 2020 to November 2021 and a PhD in Geography from Humboldt-Universität zu Berlin, where involvement in the Geography department and the IRI-THESys was notable. Wei Weng’s academic journey also includes roles as a Researcher at IRITHESys, a visiting scientist at CIAT, and a strong educational background with a BSc in Geography from National Taiwan University and an MSc in Water Science, Policy and Management from the University of Oxford.
