Freya Lenk currently serves as the Personal Assistant to the Secretary-General at Rat für Nachhaltige Entwicklung (RNE) since April 2024 and is a Visiting Researcher at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research (PIK) since January 2022. Previously, Lenk was a Junior Specialist at the C40 Cities Finance Facility from October 2023 to March 2024 and completed an internship at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH focusing on the project 'Development Policy of the Future' from January 2023 to July 2023. Lenk has experience as a Research Associate at Universität Potsdam from April 2021 to November 2022 and at Hasso Plattner Institute from April 2020 to March 2021. An earlier internship also took place at Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit GmbH in 2016, concentrating on Public Investment and Climate Change Adaptation in Latin America. Lenk holds a Master of Arts in Public Administration from the University of Potsdam and a Bachelor of Arts in Governance and Public Policy from Universität Passau.
