David Abigaba is a Doctoral Researcher at the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research since September 2022, focusing on the linkages between agroforestry and human health and nutrition. With experience as a Research Assistant and Student Research Assistant, David has contributed to various projects related to agroforestry. Previous roles include an Internship Trainee specializing in crop suitability modeling, as well as a Volunteer for the food-water-energy working group at TU eMpower Africa e.V. David holds a Master’s degree in Climate Change Management from Hochschule Weihenstephan-Triesdorf and is pursuing a PhD in Agroecology and Sustainable Agriculture at the University of Kassel since January 2024, following a Bachelor's degree in Forestry and Extension from Makerere University.
