Zach Waterfield is an experienced engineer and venture partner with a diverse background in startups and investment. Currently serving as an Engineer at PostHog and holding multiple venture partner roles, Zach is a Senior Venture Partner at Pioneer Fund, focusing on investing in top Y Combinator startups, and an Angel Investor actively involved with over 20 pre-seed and seed-stage companies. Zach co-founded and served as CTO of Zettlor, which specializes in innovative candidate sourcing solutions, and was a Network Leader at Village Global, a non-traditional venture capital firm. Previous positions include Engineering Manager and Fundraising Products Lead at On Deck, where significant products were launched. Zach also co-founded Kopa, providing rental solutions for extended stays, and actively advises several startups on various operational aspects. Educational qualifications include a Computer Engineering degree from the University of Waterloo and participation in Y Combinator.
