Masao Fujii is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in database management, particularly with PostgreSQL. Since April 2012, Masao has held the position of Database Technical Lead at NTT DATA, focusing on R&D in database management system technologies. Prior roles include Database Architect, where Masao led the PostgreSQL team in providing database consulting and support services, and Manager, overseeing the modernization and digital transformation of core banking systems. Masao has also been a Committer for the PostgreSQL Global Development Group since June 2013 and previously served as a Database Architect at the NTT Open Source Software Center and an R&D Specialist at NTT DATA Corporation. Masao holds a degree from Kyoto University, completed in 2004.
