Head Customer Success Managment (b2b) Billing Solutions at PostFinance

Michael Scherer has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Michael currently serves as the Head of Customer Success Management Billing Solutions at PostFinance since August 2022. Before that, they co-founded and partnered in WebAccountPlus (Holding) AG in September 2021. Prior to their entrepreneurial venture, they worked at Credit Suisse as the Sector Manager of the Digital Client Owner Group at Digital Banking Switzerland, holding the position of Vice President from July 2021 to August 2021. Michael has a long history with PostFinance, starting in 2005 as the Head of Business Customers in Zurich City. During their tenure, they successfully managed and developed the market district, implemented cross-team job enrichments, and recruited and trained new employees. Michael also contributed to various internal programs and projects, focusing on CRM process optimization and the introduction of enterprise consulting ERP for corporate customers. Additionally, they provided consultation and sales expertise, managing their own client portfolio and selling payment solutions, loans, and foreign exchange transactions. Before joining PostFinance, Michael worked as a Senior Business Client Advisor for medium-sized companies and as a Business Client Advisor for small businesses at Swiss Life Select from 2002 to 2005.

Michael Scherer has a comprehensive education history. In 2008, they attended the Höhere Fachschule Banking & Finance HFBF, where they obtained a Dipl. Bankwirtschafter HF degree in Bank- und Finanzdienstleistungen in 2011. Subsequently, they pursued further education at the Kalaidos University of Applied Sciences Switzerland. In 2015, they enrolled in the university's Strategic Management program, earning a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in the same year. Additionally, they completed another CAS in Leadership Advanced in 2016 and a CAS in Angewandte Psychologie in the same year. In 2015, they also embarked on an Executive Master of Business Administration FH (EMBA FH) in Strategic Management, which they completed in 2017. Moving on to 2021, they attended the EF Executive Language Institute to enhance their language teaching skills, focusing on teaching English or French as a second or foreign language.
