Alex Schoemann, CPA has a long and varied work experience in the fields of finance, accounting, and public health. Alex began their career in 2012 as the Vice President of Development for the Jubilee Initiative for Financial Inclusion. In 2014, they worked as a Senior with Deloitte, providing financial statement audit, internal control design and testing, acquisition due diligence, opening balance sheet testing, debt & equity offerings, and financial modelling. Alex also worked as a Field Consultant for Community Empowerment Solutions, a Monitoring & Evaluation Lead for DSIL Global, a Consumer Program & Product Development Intern for Craft3, and a Research Assistant for the University of Washington. In 2018, they were a Senior Associate with Third Sector Capital Partners, Inc., and in 2019, they worked as a Senior Strategic Finance Manager and a Finance & Analytics Senior Associate and Associate with Possible.
Alex Schoemann, CPA completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting from the University of Notre Dame in 2014. Alex then obtained a Certificate in Designing for Social Innovation and Leadership from the University For Peace (UPeace) in October 2014. In 2016, Alex Schoemann, CPA earned a Master of Public Administration (MPA) in Public Finance & Policy Analysis from the Evans School of Public Policy and Governance at the University of Washington. Alex is also a Certified Public Accountant, certified by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation.
