Rachel McDonnell is an experienced educator with a diverse background in teaching and instructional coaching. Currently serving as a Teacher at Positive Education Program since July 2023, Rachel provides academic assistance to students aged 15 to 21 on their path to earning diplomas. Previously, Rachel held positions as Youth Director at Divinity Lutheran Church and Master Teacher and English Teacher at Oakmont High School. Rachel's earlier experience includes roles as a Home Instructional Coach at Berea City School District, where the focus was on enhancing parent relations in special education, and as an Adult Education Instructor at Parma City School District. Additionally, Rachel has extensive teaching experience at Nordonia Hills City Schools, working with students from kindergarten to 4th grade. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science and Master of Arts in Elementary Education and Literacy Education with a Reading Endorsement from The University of Akron, along with certifications in Applied Behavior Analysis and TESOL Endorsement from the University of Cincinnati.
