Thomas Mock, PhD, is an accomplished Product Manager at Posit PBC since July 2018, responsible for defining the product roadmap and strategy for Posit Workbench and the RStudio IDE. Previously, Thomas took on the role of Product Manager for Quarto, where integrations of the scientific publishing system were executed, alongside conducting a comprehensive webinar series on Quarto. As Customer Enablement Lead at RStudio, Thomas enhanced customer engagement through tailored presentations and documentation. Prior to these roles, Thomas garnered experience as a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Texas Health Science Center, focusing on behavioral data analysis and mentorship, and as a Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at Florida Atlantic University, where Thomas taught undergraduate courses and managed a lab. Academic credentials include a PhD in Biomedical Science, a Master’s in Exercise Science and Health Promotion, and a Bachelor’s in Kinesiology.
