Nelson Bastidas, CSCP, has a diverse work experience in procurement and supply chain management. Starting in 2006, they served as the Operations/Procurement Manager at American Overseas Trading Corp. During their tenure, they successfully managed procurement and strategic sourcing with an annual spend of over $3 million. Nelson implemented sourcing strategies to minimize transaction costs while maintaining service levels and reduced inventory through metrics and collaborative planning. Nelson also utilized data analysis tools to evaluate supplier and customer performance. In addition, they worked as a Market Research Analyst & Export Sales Manager, where they conducted research on international market conditions and analyzed customer demographics to identify potential markets. Nelson's most recent role has been with PosiGen, where they have held the positions of Director of Procurement and Supply Chain, Senior Procurement Operations Manager, and Procurement Manager.
