Atul Sharma possesses extensive experience in government affairs, stakeholder relations, and strategic communications. Currently serving as the Manager of Government Affairs & Stakeholder Relations at Greater Toronto Airports Authority since July 2018, Atul also holds the position of President at Strategix Consulting since February 2015. Previous roles include Senior Vice President of Public Affairs at GCI Canada and Vice President and Deputy Group Leader at Hill+Knowlton Strategies, where Atul focused on government relations and strategic planning. Atul has also contributed to academia as a lecturer at Sheridan College and served as Executive Director for the Canadian Plastics Industry Association. Additional experience includes roles as Senior Policy Advisor for the Government of Ontario and Vice President of Policy Development & Chief Economist for the Ontario Chamber of Commerce. Atul Sharma holds a Bachelor of Arts and a Master of Arts in Economics from Carleton University and the University of Ottawa, respectively.
