Jim Allen has over four decades of experience in healthcare education and emergency medical services. Since January 1978, Jim has served as an Educator at Portneuf Medical Center, where responsibilities include coordinating Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) programs. From August 2008 to August 2013, Jim held the position of Coordinator for EMS Programs and Director of the Simulation Center at Idaho State University, while also instructing in the Advanced Degree Registered Nurse (ADRN) and Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) programs. Prior to these roles, Jim was a Paramedic at the City of Pocatello Fire Department from January 1978 until retirement in July 2002. Jim's educational background includes studies at Idaho State University from 2001 to 2010 and Boise State University in 2009.
