William Acorda, PE, is a Principal Standards Engineer at Portland General Electric since February 2013, overseeing the distribution asset material failure process and providing technical guidance on medium voltage and underground cable specifications. Acorda has held various engineering positions within the company, including Senior Standards Engineer and Senior Reliability Engineer, where responsibilities included managing material inventory, creating Tableau BI dashboards, and supporting field crews. Acorda's prior experience includes roles at PacifiCorp as an Engineer and Associate Engineer focusing on customer generation and metering programs, and as a Meter Engineering Intern.
