Louis Baer is a licensed lawyer in Maryland and a Certified Professional Environmental Auditor with expertise in environmental regulatory affairs advocacy and EHS regulatory compliance. Louis has held various roles, including Legal Intern for the Senate Committee on Environment and Public Works, and served as Senior Director and Counsel for the American Cement Association, overseeing environmental and energy regulatory affairs. In addition to Louis's current position as Associate General Counsel at the National Mining Association, previous experiences include consulting for Tellevate, LLC, and leading Clean Air Act compliance initiatives at Enhesa. Louis earned a degree from Washington University in St. Louis School of Law.
