Christina brings over 20 years' of eclectic health care leadership in clinical research, quality, information technology, and direct patient care. Mrs. Mastandrea has been leading and inspiring clinical research professionals in developing strategies and defining evidence generation / synthesis to support successful execution of clinical programs supporting product portfolios across the globe.
Mrs. Mastandrea joins Portal Instruments from Alcresta Therapeutics, a developer of novel products that deliver enzymatic solutions to those living with rare diseases where she served as the Sr. Director of Clinical Research. Prior to Alcresta Therapeutics, she also held Clinical Research leadership positions at Massachusetts General Hospital, Johnson & Johnson & Hologic and has a proven track record of successfully bringing new therapies to market for the pharma and medical device / IVD industry. Mrs. Mastandrea holds a BSc in Pre-Law and Biology from Suffolk University, completion of nursing studies at Salem State University, and advanced studies in healthcare leadership.
