Sue Carpenter, MSW, LSW, currently serves as an Assessment Specialist at Portage Path Behavioral Health, beginning in January 2024. Sue has diverse experience in social work, previously working as an In-home Therapist at The Bair Foundation and as a Behavior Specialist & Performance Coach at Summit Academy Schools, where responsibilities included providing social and emotional support to K-8 students. Other roles include Direct Care Professional at Hattie Larlham, Licensed Group Facilitator at Bellefaire JCB, and Licensed Social Worker at New Horizons Psychiatric Services. Sue's background also features extensive experience as a therapeutic foster parent and internships in juvenile correction and adult probation. Educational achievements include a Master of Social Work from Ohio University and bachelor's degrees in Social Work and Human Development and Family Studies from The University of Akron and Kent State University, respectively.
