George Liddle is a seasoned environmental professional with extensive experience in managing complex environmental projects, currently serving as the Sr. Environmental Scientist at the Port of San Diego since March 2017. Responsibilities include overseeing environmental compliance, supervising staff and contractors, administering significant contracts, and engaging with regulatory agencies. Prior to this role, George held the position of Environmental Manager at Realty Income Corporation, leading environmental risk management for a large portfolio of properties and acting as an in-house expert on contaminated properties. Experience also includes environmental monitoring and data analysis at SCS Engineers, technical writing roles, and significant contributions to groundwater remediation at Hargis + Associates, Inc. George holds a degree in Biology from UC San Diego, focusing on ecology, behavior, and evolution.
