Rob van Bekkum is an experienced professional in asset management and infrastructure, currently serving as the Manager of Asset Management Infrastructure at the Port of Rotterdam since January 2016. Prior experience includes roles as Team Leader of Maintenance and Asset Management and Advisor in Asset Management at Witteveen+Bos from March 2010 to December 2015, where responsibilities included developing asset management policies, plans, and conducting maintenance engineering and risk analysis. Rob also completed an internship at ABT bv between February 2009 and February 2010, with a focus on the application of steel fibers in underwater concrete for the graduation project. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from HAN University of Applied Sciences and an IAM Certificate in Asset Management from The Institute of Asset Management.
