Hussam Zein has a diverse professional background, currently serving in multiple roles such as Cashmanagement EMPL, Control & Compliance Officer, Quality Assurance, and POR CFO SPC at the Port of Rotterdam since October 2019. Previously, Hussam worked as a Badmeester at Optisport from October 2017 to October 2019, and as a Graduate Intern in Risk Assurance at PwC for a brief period in 2019, focusing on improving IT-audit process management. An internship at Gemeente Breda allowed for an analysis of their 'Binnen Sport' department, culminating in an advisory report. Earlier roles include a Sales Representative at Budget Rent a Car in Aleppo and Lifeguard/Swim Instructor at Blue Lagoon Water Park. Hussam holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and Management from Aleppo University and has completed additional studies in Dutch as a second language at Fontys Hogeschool Tilburg and Avans University of Applied Sciences.
