Nicole Cook is a seasoned professional in community engagement and communications, currently serving as a Community Engagement Officer at Port Macquarie Hastings Council since October 2024 and as a Communications Coordinator for Hastings Business Women’s Network since November 2023. With extensive experience in marketing and customer experience management at Hastings Co-operative from February 2016 to October 2024, Nicole oversaw marketing strategies across a diverse portfolio of businesses. Previous roles include Editor of Hastings Gazette and various journalism and marketing positions at Fairfax Media, as well as a significant tenure in corporate communications with Essential Energy and Country Energy. Nicole holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from the University of Newcastle and a Diploma of Journalism from Deakin University.
